7 Night Mozambique Fly-in

Day 1 Silverwood Manor, Bryanston, Johannesburg, B&B basis

On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will be met and transferred the relatively short distant to the comfortable northern suburb of Bryanston, situated close to the popular shopping & CBD of Sandton.

Each room is individually decorated with en-suite bathroom. The beautifully thatched lodge is set amidst extensive gardens and is a quiet retreat from the busy pace of South Africa’s largest city. Lunch and dinner is available on request.

Day 2,3,4,5,6 Marlin Lodge, Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique, FB Basis

After an early breakfast your pre-paid transfer driver will collect you and return to the airport in time to meet your inclusive flight to the coast and Vilanculos. Here you will be met and transferred to the Donna Anna Jetty for a 25 minute scenic boat journey out to the island.

In a National Marine Park in Mozambique, lies an Archipelago of off shore islands known as The Bazaruto Archipelago. There are three main islands known as Margaruque, Benguera and Bazaruto. On the second largest island, Benguera lies idyllic Marlin Lodge.
The Island is set amid translucent waters flecked with dhow sails and rich in marine life - an un-spoilt paradise for those seeking a haven of peace, something extraordinary. The island is approximately 11km in length and 5,5km wide and lays 14km offshore from the mainland and the town of Vilanculos
Each day you'll be reminded of the Archipelago's colourful past as fishermen pole their beautiful dhows - a sight unaltered in centuries - out to catch the wind. The locals continue to live a laid-back island lifestyle. And late at night you may hear the pulse of distant drums...
Marlin's 19 En-Suite Chalets stretch along the beach of Flamingo Bay. Each sea-facing chalet has a private patio with a walkway down to the sandy white beach. The wood-reed-and-thatch chalets are a blend of elegance and African Island beauty.
Decorated with a hue of creams, browns, and slight blues, the chalets reflect luxury and essential comfort. Drift into a slumber listening to the lap of waves and the breath of trade winds in the palms.
Besides the opportunity to simply relax on the white coral beaches, the lodge offers a wide range of activities. Inclusive in this package is a Dhow cruise plus an island tour and all non-motorised activities such as catamaran sailing, sea kayaking and wind surfing.

SCUBA AND SNORKELLING
The warm tropical waters surrounding the archipelago support a stunning variety of fish, coral, marine mammals and plants. Dive House reef, two mile reef, Aquarium, five mile reef, Magaruque Island, deep hole, Magaruque Express, Cabo San Sebastaio, Bazaruto north point, Light House and Turtle reef.
ANGLING
Deep-sea fishing, game-fishing (marlin and sailfish), surfcasting, saltwater fly-fishing
EXCURSIONS
Includes sunset cruises, Pansy Island sports, Aquarium adventure, island drives, Dhow sailing, visits to Vilanculos and day trips around the island.
WATER SPORTS
Activities include, water-skiing, para-sailing, knee-boarding and water-snaking.

Day 7 Silverwood Manor, Bryanston, Johannesburg, B&B basis
Return this morning to Vilanculos and onto the airstrip for return flight to Johannesburg, where upon arrival you will be met and transferred back to Silverwood Manor for one final night.

Day 8 Fly-out
You will be met again by your transfer driver for the last journey back to International to meet your onward flight.
