LUXURY SCHEDULED SAFARI OPTIONS

10 night Moremi and Chobe Camping safari with 3 nights at Savuti Safari Lodge.

Day 1
On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and assisted by your professional safari guide.
Drive through the rural countryside to Motsentsela Lodge, which is a small, tented camp, situated on a game farm 14 kilometers out of town. Here you can relax after your long international flight, go over your trip with your guide and prepare yourself for your first days drive early tomorrow morning.
Overnight Motsentsela in a luxury twin bedded tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis.

Day 2/3/4

Depart on safari to the Moremi reserve. Camp has been erected for us in the reserve. We spend our time in Moremi, doing drives along the Khwai river and its flood plains. Game viewing is good and we should see hippo, elephant and numerous species of antelope and bird life. We make the most of this scenic landscape with it’s diversity of towering forests and open flood plains, before making our way up to the harsh environment of Savute.
Overnight for 3 nights camping in large 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.

Day 5/6/7

We drive northwards towards the Savuti area of Chobe NP . This is about a
4 – 5 hour drive and we will stop for game viewing opportunities along the way. We will aim to arrive at Savuti Safari Lodge around lunch time.
This is a beautiful Lodge set on the edge of the Savuti channel, which once flowed but is now dry. The Lodge overlooks a water hold where a variety of animals come to drink. It’s a wonderful place to sit and watch these animals whilst having dinner or sipping a sun downer drink!.
Accommodation is in luxury thatched chalets with own decks and views. Facilities are en suite and will make a good contrast from the previous nights camping!!
We will explore the area by taking morning and afternoon game drives and returning to the Lodge to overnight.

Day 8/9/10

Leaving behind the open savannas and rocky outcrops of Savuti, we head north towards the Chobe river front , with its dense riverine forests. This area of Chobe is renowned for its large herds of elephant. We take a boat cruise to view the variety of game from the water.
Overnight for 3 nights camping in large 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.
