LUXURY SCHEDULED SAFARI OPTIONS

7 night Nxai Pan, Okavango Delta Lodge and Moremi Camping safari.

Day 1

On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and assisted by your professional safari guide.
Drive through the rural countryside to Motsentsela Lodge, which is a small, tented camp, situated on a game farm 14 kilometers out of town. Here you can relax after your long international flight, go over your trip with your guide and prepare yourself for your first days drive early tomorrow morning.
Overnight Motsentsela in a luxury twin bedded tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis.

Day 2 and 3

After an early breakfast, depart for Nxai Pan. The 200km journey will take about 4 hours.
Whilst we prepare lunch at Nxai Pan, our camp staff who have traveled with us in a separate vehicle will erect our camp. We spend the next 2 days in this fascinating area. Game viewing is generally good, with many animals using the waterhole nearby. This is the only place in our tour where we will get the chance to see springbok and oryx.
Overnight camping in large 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.

Day 4 and 5

We set off early back to Maun in time to catch our 40 minute charter flight to Modumo Lodge situated in the northern delta. The lodge is superbly comfortable, twin bedded thatch chalets overlooking the stunning Modumo floodplains a beautiful contrast to the dry kalahari we left behind at Nxai pan.
We spend our time exploring the area on foot, by mokoro and vehicle. As this is a private concession, we have the ability to do armed walks and night drives. The scenery is fantastic and while walking you cannot get “closer to nature”
Overnight at Modumo in a twin bedded chalet with en suite facilities. Full board

Day 6 and 7

From Modumo it is a 30 minute flight to the Moremi Game reserve where we meet up with our safari team once again. Camp has been erected for us in the reserve. We spend our time in Moremi, doing drives along the Khwai river and its flood plains. Game viewing is good and we should see hippo, elephant and numerous species of antelope and bird life. We make the most of this scenic landscape with it’s diversity of towering forests and open flood plains, before making our way up to the harsh environment of Savute.
Overnight camping in large 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.

Day 8 – Early flight back to Maun with scenic flight across Moremi NP – approx 30 mins.
