7 night Luxury Safari to Moremi, Savuti and Chobe NP

Day 1

On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and assisted by your professional safari guide.
Drive through the rural countryside to Motsentsela Tree Lodge, which is a small, tented camp, situated on a game farm 14 kilometers out of town. Here you can relax after your long international flight, go over your trip with your guide and prepare yourself for your first days drive early tomorrow morning.
Overnight Motsentsela in a luxury twin bedded tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis.

Day 2 and 3

Depart Maun for the 4 hour drive to the Moremi Game reserve.Camp has been erected for us in the reserve. We spend our time in Moremi, doing drives along the Khwai river and its flood plains. Game viewing is good and we should see hippo, elephant and numerous species of antelope and bird life. We make the most of this scenic landscape with it’s diversity of towering forests and open flood plains, before making our way up to the harsh environment of Savute.
Overnight camping in large 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.

Day 4 and 5

It is a 5 hour drive to Savute, recognised as one of Botswana’s prime game-viewing area’s. Savute is dominated by the “Savute marsh” a sweeping expanse of savanna looked over by seven rocky outcrops that guard the relic marsh and the dry channel that was once its lifeline. The area is famous for its numerous bull elephant monopolising the waterholes. These animals reign supreme, while the lion population and spectacular zebra migrations are a sight to behold. We spend our time exploring the marsh and sitting watching at the busy waterholes.
Overnight camping in 3m x 3m tents with camp beds and shared ablutions.

Day 6 and 7

It is a relatively short 3hour drive to our campsite close to the Chobe River. The area famous for its huge elephant and buffalo herds – the highest concentrations of anywhere in the world, these combined with magnificent sunsets, good bird life and a boat cruise on the river will leave Chobe etched on your mind forever.
