Day 1 –

You will be met at Maun airport and transferred to Motsentsela Tree Lodge. The lodge accommodates only 18 guests and is situated on a small game farm on the outskirts of Maun, an ideal place to rest and get acclimatised after your long international flight.
Guests can relax and catch up on rest, or take one of the three marked walking trails in search of the numerous bird and animal species present on the farm.

Day 2 + 3 –

Today we take a mid morning transfer to Maun airport for a 15 minute flight to a rustic tented camp on the edge of Chief’s island. Your overnight accommodation is in 3 metre ‘walk in’ Dome tents set on low wooden decks and covered with a reed shelter. Each dome tent has 2 camp beds, bedding and towels. Ablutions are ‘al fresco’ close to your tent (not ensuite)
All meals are taken in the dining area overlooking the pools of the Delta. Activities are mokoro excursions and bush walks led by local experienced guides.

Day 4 + 5
Flight back to Maun where you are met and transferred by road ( approx 1.5 hours) to Leroo le Tau Tented camp set close to the Magadikgadi Pans. This beautiful camp is situated on the Boteti channel and offers excursions intothe nearby Magadikgadi Pans famed for their ‘lunar landscape’ and herds of zebra and springbok. Night drives are also on offer which add the chance to see nocturnal species by spot light.

Day 6 , 7+ 8
You are transferred back to Maun by road transfer in time to catch an Air Botswana flight to the town of Kasane where you will be based for the next 2 night
On arrival in Kasane – you are met and transferred to The Garden Lodge guest house.
This is a charming and friendly guest house based on the banks of the Chobe river.
Rooms are ensuite. Activities offered are game drives, boat cruises, mokoro excursions and fishing.

Day 9 – The tour finishes after breakfast.

Inter camp flights and road transfers.
Meals and activities at Lodges in Okavango Delta and Kasane.
Air Botswana flight Maun to Kasane.

Not included:
Cash bar and extras at all Lodges.
